We are all aware of the tremendous sacrifices made by our Armed Forces around the world, most especially in the Middle East. SMKW President Kevin Pipes was personally touched when he learned of the death of a close friend's brother. David Randolph, only 33, was killed in November when his convoy was attacked near Fallujah. Though not a soldier at the time of his death, Randolph was an ex-Marine and former police officer. He had previously served in Iraq as a Second Lieutenant with the Army National Guard. Randolph returned to Iraq in October 2004 to dispose of Iraqi missiles and bombs. While talking with Kevin prior to his return to Iraq, David expressed the need that soldiers have for knives. Kevin promised he would do what he could. To fulfill that promise, Kevin conceived A KNIFE FOR A SOLDIER. Kevin's goal is to provide soldiers in Iraq with the cutting tools that they need while showing our support for their efforts. Join us in providing A KNIFE FOR A SOLDIER.
